Pat Benson Boxing Academy recorded two historic back to back clean sweeps in their final two shows of the season, first on Friday March 13th March, proving to be a lucky omen for the 11 winners, including Cianan Folan, below, who tackled vastly experienced Joe Shakespeare from Wolverhampton club, Lions ABC, and produced an excellent performance to win on a unanimous decision.

Another worthy winner was Folan’s cousin, Peter Reilly who picked up the belt for the best boxer of the night after an excellent performance, showing hand speed, courage and tremendous fitness levels. Well done to both lads involved and the other winners.
